Mainly as a precaution, avoid all those things thought as potential causes of illness in humans – eg. no aluminium cookware, no teflon coated pans etc.
The Essaic Tea and flaxseed/Budwig protocol are explained elsewhere, but some of the gear needed here is specifically for these preparations.
My main kit for Moet’s diet regime is :
1. Large stainless steel or glass saucepan (6-10 litres) for boiling Essaic Tea blend without overflow !
2. Stainless steel strainer (for Essaic Tea) and stainless steel funnel (if necessary, depend on glass jar size)
3. Sterile large glass jar (approx 3 litres) for storing Essaic Tea
4. Small coffee grinder (for flax seeds)
5. Wooden or stainless steel spoon (for stirring)
6. Immersion blender (like electric handheld mixer with a chopping blade in the base to whisk / stir Budwig protocol)
7. Large wide base coffee cup (for mixing and storing Budwig protocol)
8. Stainless steel measuring cups and spoons for tablespoons and millilitres (a lot of the recipes need vaguely accurate amounts)
9. Large pyrex glass water dishes (for dog drinking)
10. Glass or stainless steel food bowls
Because there’s so much misinformation out there about Teflon, I’m not surprised that you are concerned it can cause illness in humans. I’m a representative of DuPont though, and hope you’ll let me share some information with you and your readers, so that everyone can make truly informed decisions. Regulatory agencies, consumer groups and health associations all have taken a close look at Teflon. This article highlights what they found — the bottom line is that you can use Teflon without worry.

I’d truly be glad to share additional information about it if you are interested, and appreciate your consideration of this comment. Cheers, Ross.
PS – Moet is very cute đŸ™‚
Hi Ross
While I have more pressing things to worry about in life at present, it isn’t my intention to limit free speech. This blog currently has no search traffic and is brand new, so I’m guessing your job is to pretty thoroughly scan the web for comments re Teflon and try to ensure the corporate side of the story makes it to press. There are sufficient claims out there regarding Teflon – like :
http://www.ewg.org/node/8305
and
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/11376032/
and
http://www.organicconsumers.org/articles/article_6848.cfm
and my naturopath advised me to avoid using it in Moet’s preparations, so regardless I will err on the side of caution.
But I’ve made sure your post appears so other people can make up their own mind. I have no wish to destroy the (what I assume are fairly large) profits of DuPont.
Thanks for the nice comments re. Moet
Kind regards
Carl
